Alfredo Gonzalez 

Hello I'm Ilya, I joined the Malkova Lab in May 2026. I am currently an undergraduate Biology student on the pre-dental track graduating may 2029. My interest in science began at a young age because both of my parents are scientists, which exposed me to scientific thinking and research from an early age. One cool fact about me is, I have always been fascinated by the human body, especially the muscular system, and enjoy learning about how muscles function, adapt, and work together to produce movement and strength.

Outside of the lab, I enjoy working out, shopping, fashion, and cars.
