I graduated with my Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from my home country, India, and came to the United States of America to pursue my Doctoral degree. I’m a graduate student at UT Health San Antonio in Dr. Anna Malkova’s lab to pursue my PhD. In the Malkova Lab, I work on Break Induced Replication (BIR) in yeast and mammalian cell lines. I am inclined to understand the molecular mechanism in yeast and mammalian cell cultures to better understand the big picture in the human body. I enjoy learning new molecular techniques and sharing my research experience with others. Apart from academics, I love travelling, exploring places, watching movies, and doing arts and crafts.
